Peaceful Sunday Time

This Sunday let’s add a little exercise if you have time.  Before you pray or chant or meditate for peace, get quiet, move inward and ask yourself if anything within you stands in the way of being peaceful and, if so, ask to see what it is.  See the thing that blocks peace as dissolving or floating away from you. Ask if there is anything more you can do to release whatever blocks your peace. Then chant, etc. as usual.

In case you’re new, we’re finding 10 minutes at a minimum to pray or chant or meditate (or???) for peace every Sunday.  Details are on the CPS page.  For comments:  you can comment here or on the CPS page or you can go to the Facebook page.

  1. It is said that everyone should meditate (think of one hand clapping… i.e. nothing, for 20 minutes a day… If you’re prone to angry out-bursts, an hour per day. Someday, someone’s going to dismantle that bench and take it home with them!

  2. I closed my eyes and asked myself, What’s standing in my way of being peaceful?

and the critter responded, You are.

and my loving self replied. Nothing.

I’m going with my loving self today.

Thanks for the beautiful reminder Leigh.
