It’s peace time again. I thought I’d suggest a little something different. Of course, if you have some other practice you want to do, I’d rather have you do something for peace rather than skip if you don’t like my practice.
This time the practice will take 20 minutes.
First, say the lovingkindness chant for yourself for 10 minutes:
- I am filled with lovingkindness
- I am well
- I am peaceful and at ease
- I am happy
Then say it for the earth for 10 minutes:
- The earth is filled with lovingkindness
- She is well
- She is peaceful and at ease
- She is happy
Sit comfortably — with a straight back if possible — while you chant. That’s it. Just check out how it feels to say if for yourself first.
